Dream home...

Would like to create an escape loft or studio.  A place with a kitchen with a small window, a bathroom with a claw foot tub, a corner for office and space for music, painting etc.  Comfortable chairs and lounging pillows, the air a pleasant scent due to the candles and patchouli incense sticks; a place for my mind to roam.  A tall wall, filled with good books from around the world, a table to share a meal with guests and a closet with plenty of storage space.  Wood floors strewn with rugs inherited from traveling family and friends.  An old school peculator on the stove, or maybe a french press and a metal sieve for loose leaf teas.  Soft lighting to enhance the room when the sun fades; an ottoman full of a variety of rainy day games.  Crochet blankets, quilts and throws, lovingly folded on the other side of the velvet chaise lounge; this is the place I long to escape to.  I suppose its just the fancy of a tired and frayed worker bee, who longs just to find a clover and a spot in the shade...
