It is odd to admit
For me anyway
Especially speaking on something not owned
Particularly speaking of something unsure
That is not mine
Nor was promised
It is hard to admit
Or to comprehend for the average thinking person
Why in a cupcake shop
I would choose
a delicious chocolate bouchon
Or why in a sports bar I would order wine
With a hundred beers on tap
I suppose because I'm different
And for this reason
I find myself missing you more
