Pacific
I probably shouldn't
But I hope within my personage
That you think of me
And our forgotten everything
And the power specific
Of our strong as the Pacific
Earth bending, time defying
Infinite mutuality
And you smile because you know
I am still here.
And as you stand at the edge of the ocean,
I invite you, try and count the number of waves
Or to quantify the sea shells
Or the sand grains or the stars
And as you realize that your mind's confines cannot possibly hold those figures
You will figure out how long
I will be here.
I will always be here.
I have always been here
Power specific
Strong as the Pacific
Nautilus infinite
Reflection of your
Smile
