A Realization...

Some people won't like you, simply because
the light in your soul
and the glint from your crown
is bothersome
to their eyes.
Perhaps that's why
They're quick to
Throw shade.
But I say to you
Glow anyway.
And pray they too find
Their own place
in the sun.
