Sun and Moon

I am attracted to your light as
You are attracted to my darkness
What I cannot figure is why
Like the sun's rays, your light reaches out through the vacuum
Casting radiant beams across the coldness of space
Causing them to brush gently against the imperfection of my face
While I willingly reflect your light
You feel my presence as I compliment your might
To let me breathe you do obeisance every night
And we meet at the twilight and the dawn
I can feel your mighty presence even with the shades drawn
This heart
Which at times appears invisible
Returns little by little by your coaxing
And your presence
And your warmth
And your light
And your energy
And so I crooked smile
And return back
to full
