The first day of a new year is exciting. It offers a new horizon, a fresh start, a renewed perspective on one's life. But more often than not, after a month or two of zealous efforts into our goals of choice, we loose momentum. Why is that? Just think, if everyone accomplished their (positive) resolutions, the world would enjoy a boost of successful and motivated people, confident enough to tackle a variety of important issues like the fiscal cliff or what it really means to redneckognize. So with these first few new days of 2013, let us not only determine the destination of our journeys and how to get there, but how also to not tire out along the way.
