Know. Better.

I should know better...

Once met I started hastily
To script about loquaciously
The possibles and the maybes of the heart
I started to investigate the warmth against my skin and to enjoy it
Quickly forgetting that I am easily burned
Truth, I had learned
I had learned to put on sunscreen
Because my annual star gazing had left too many scars
And I am not anxious to add unto the pain
Kick in brain
Kick in brain
Do not become so easily distracted
By the distorted reflections of self offered in fun house glass
If you have questions, then ask
Or else never will you know
Better.
